Driving tips and other life stuff
Improving your braking: fuel efficiency
Not only does braking harshly affect your good driving feedback, it also costs you in the long-run. Frequently hitting the brakes then accelerating, then hitting the brakes again will burn fuel quicker than you clocking out of work on a Friday afternoon.
If there's one thing all drivers hate paying for, it's petrol. So making some small changes to your driving style will benefit your ingenie feedback, your passenger's comfort and the big one - your pocket.
Try to work on your engine braking: anticipating to stop at fixed points rather than hoping you can keep going and then having to react late. You'll have better control of your car and your petrol tank will thank you for it later.Maria

There's lots of other techniques you can use to save you pennies at the pump. Things like:
- Accelerating gently
- Maintaining a steady speed
- Turning off your engine when you're sat stationary for a while (like when your mate said they were ready and they totally lied)
- Emptying the car of excess weight
- Planning your route and a plan B route so you're not driving more than necessary
- Only using air con when you really need it 😅
All of this stuff combined will make you a better, safer driver and you'll have some change at the end of it to treat yourself. Winning.
