Finally, we\u2019re seeing an end to the winter, which has been harsher in lots of different ways. <\/p> \r\n\r\n
The sun is peeping through and hanging out for longer, the birds are joyfully chirping their wake-up calls at 5am (much to the annoyance of myself), the air feels lighter. We can practically smell summer coming around the corner. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
Hope is on the horizon and brighter times are ahead, literally! <\/p>\r\n\r\n
So, now\u2019s the prefect time to come out of hibernation, ready for; sun, fun and a cracking start to this next part of 2021. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
Your car, \u2018insert name\u2019, (mine is called Cruz)<\/em>, is probably looking a bit dusty and weathered at the moment and I don\u2019t know about you, but, in the last few months I\u2019ve definitely neglected mine. <\/p>\r\n\r\n So, only seems fair to give it a little spring clean of its own right? Right. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Don\u2019t forget, due to lockdown, hand car washes are still not running yet.<\/strong> <\/p>\r\n\r\n Here\u2019s your options: <\/p>\r\n The sun, oh, the glorious sun! It has come out to play and please can it stay? <\/p>\r\n\r\n Nah, this is Britain innit. <\/p>\r\n\r\n So, make sure you don\u2019t suddenly get blinded by its rays when driving down the motorway or a beautiful country road, don some sunglasses and keep them in your car, ready. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Also, while we\u2019re on the subject, top up your windscreen wash<\/a> and keep that glass sparkly and clear. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t If there\u2019s one thing that\u2019s increased during lockdown, it\u2019s the Tour de France taking place down your road every day. But for most drivers, there's a fear of causing a near Tour de Hospital instead. <\/p>\r\n\r\n Navigating cyclists on a busy road can be very stressful, so we all need to be mindful of each other. <\/p>\r\n It's also worth mentioning that more cyclists will be out on the roads even after lockdown, so get stealthy and we can all make the roads a happier place.<\/a> <\/p>\r\n\r\n Hurrah! <\/p>\r\n\r\n Theory and practical tests are back on, come 12th April (practical ones being 10 days later)<\/em>, and this ties in nicely with spring and lockdown easing. <\/p>\r\n\r\n So, if you've passed your test and you\u2019re ready to get out there again, be kind to learners. You\u2019ll know how it feels. <\/p>\r\n\r\n If you\u2019re a learner reading this, just know, we\u2019ve all been there too, so try not to worry too much. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
